What You (Don’t) Need

Way back, I wrote a little bit about my favorite notebook. The great thing about a notebook, and a blog too in some ways, is when you take a moment to open it to the beginning and look back at where you started. In mine, I like to not only record my ideas but what I was thinking or doing at the time too.

For every entry I at least write the date and where I am when I wrote it. I’ll often put what inspired me to jot down those notes.

Just yesterday, while waiting on a potential client, I had my notebook and a few minutes to kill. Flipping through the pages I saw this little word graphic I made. It read:

You don’t need the drill,

you just need the hole.

Just something to think about.
